One Step Education Consultancy (“One Step”, “we”) is a study abroad and career consultancy based in Vesu, Surat, Gujarat. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• When you enquire or book a consultation: your name, phone number, email address and city, and what you tell us about your studies and plans.
• When you become a client: the documents needed for your applications, such as marksheets, test scores, passport details and financial documents.
• When you pay us: payments are handled by Razorpay. We receive confirmation of the payment but never see or store your card or bank details.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange your consultation.
• To advise you and to prepare and submit your applications, with your knowledge.
• To keep the records we are required to keep by law.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for anything unrelated to helping you.

Who we share it with

• Universities, test providers, visa authorities and lenders, only where you have asked us to apply or enquire on your behalf.
• The services we use to run the business, such as our customer records system, WhatsApp, email and Razorpay. They process information on our instructions.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we are in contact with you. We keep client files for as long as your applications are active and for the period the law requires afterwards. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Your choices

• You can ask to see the information we hold about you, or to have it corrected.
• You can withdraw your consent to being contacted at any time.
• You can ask us to delete your information, unless we are required by law to keep it.

This website

This website does not use advertising cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. The contact page shows a Google map, which Google provides under its own privacy policy.
