01The founder
Aarushi Agrawal founded One Step Education Consultancy in Surat in 2019, and has led it as Founder and Director ever since.
Aarushi studied at Delhi Public School in Surat and took a BSc in Hospitality Management at AURO University, before completing an MBA at IAE Bordeaux in France. She has been the international student she now advises.

What she does
Most families come to Aarushi with a question that sounds simple and is not: is studying abroad right for us, and if so, where? Answering it properly means weighing marks, money, the student's own ambitions and the rules of a dozen countries that change every year.
That is the work. For a student in Class 9 or 10, it is choosing a stream that keeps the right doors open. For a Class 12 student, it is deciding between an Indian college and a bachelor's abroad. For a graduate, it is finding a master's that is worth what it costs.

How she works
She starts by listening. The first consultation is thirty minutes with her, one to one, and it belongs to the family: their questions, their doubts, their numbers. She would rather tell a student that a plan will not work than take them on and let them find out later.
When a student does enrol, One Step stays with them through every stage: test preparation, applications, scholarships, loans, the visa file, and the practical side of leaving home. The aim is that a family never has to wonder what happens next, or whether the paperwork is right.

Because she says the unwelcome thing when it is true. Nobody can guarantee an admission or a visa, and she does not pretend to. What she offers is careful advice and careful work.
