The person you will actually speak to.
Aarushi Agrawal founded One Step Education Consultancy in Surat in 2019, and has led it as Founder and Director ever since.
Her work is helping families get one of their larger decisions right: what a young person should study, and where. She advises school students from Class 9 on streams and careers, and guides bachelor's and master's applicants towards a country, a course and a university they can realistically get into and afford.
She takes every first consultation herself. That is deliberate. The first conversation decides the country, the course and the budget, and everything afterwards follows from it. It is the part of the work she keeps for herself.
Aarushi studied at Delhi Public School in Surat and took a BSc in Hospitality Management at AURO University, before completing an MBA at IAE Bordeaux in France. She has been the international student she now advises.

Use it as your own time. Ask everything, test our answers, and make up your mind. If you go ahead with us, you do it knowing exactly who is handling your applications, your visa paperwork and your questions.

Asked often.
Why is there a ₹500 fee for the first consultation?
Because it is 30 minutes of the founder's own time, spent on your situation. It is advice, not a sales call. If you go on to enrol with us, the ₹500 is credited to your service fee.
Who will I be speaking to?
Aarushi Agrawal, the founder of One Step. She takes first consultations herself.
Do I have to come to the office?
No. If you are in Surat you can visit the office in Vesu or take the consultation as a phone call. If you are anywhere else, it is a one-to-one video call on Google Meet.
Can you guarantee an admission or a visa?
No, and nobody honestly can. Universities and visa officers make those decisions. What we can do is help you choose realistically, prepare a strong application and get the paperwork right, so that the decision is made on your best case.
What if One Step is not the right fit for me?
Then we will tell you. If a different route suits you better, including one that does not involve us, you will hear that in the consultation.
I am in Class 9, 10 or 11. Is it too early?
No. We work with students from Class 9 onwards on stream and subject choices. The earlier the direction is clear, the more options stay open later.
